Dude was just 23 when he killed himself in a rather odd fashion. Makes me wonder what I'm doing with my life. If I could have dedicated myself to create something with even a fraction of the impact Joy Divisions two full albums then all the screwing around I've done for the last 15 years would have actually produced something worth while.

What was I doing at 23? I think I was pissing about on a beach with a laser pointer with a brain flooding over with acid, doing literally nothing interesting.

At 23 I was probably being overdramatic on some guy who didn't even deserve a kick in the ass and most likely drawing.

At least you're still drawing. I haven't done anything creative in months since my keyboard crapped out.

My experiences of young romance were no better. I think that's one thing that does make more sense as one ages. Fuck all that nonsense.

23 I was getting pissed most of the time if I could sum up from the 18 to 27 in one song it would be Sickbed of Cuchulainn, especially the lyrics:

"And in the Euston Tavern you screamed it was your shout
But they wouldn't give you service so you kicked the windows out
They took you out into the street and kicked you in the brains
So you walked back in through a bolted door and did it all again"

I never kicked the windows out of pubs though
