Re: Dealing with anxiety
I wanted to paint a (paper) tea box because "it's relaxing"... it wasn't. Now, I'm painting that damned box since yesterday and I am not feeling good about it. I just want to throw it in the trash. And I probably would end up doing so.
I miss vinyl glue

I'm trying to adjust it...
I mean, it's my fault because I hadn't a plan. I was "oh tea is finished, it had a good box, I can use this box but I don't want to seeany tea-informations" so I start to painting it but then it went worst... :/
No, my idea is to cover it all with mandala.
I never finished a mandala before

Idk if y'all have Hobby Lobby or Michael's or any other craft place, but if so you can try fixing it with the silicone frosting they have. They come in different colors and usually have different frosting tips included.
I used it on the edges of the frame and just put a picture with clear plastic over it to protect it in the middle

Re: Dealing with anxiety
^ I love it!
Nah, it isn't worth it.
The main fault is me starting things without an idea.
I mean, I started with acrylic paint (an old tube, applied with half of a sponge you usually use for dishes), because the cardboard was "lucid" then instead of layering the paint as a patient one would be I went out with this idea "let's paint it all green, because some green shows from the images below, so it would all blend (spoiler: it didn't).
I wanted to use an old light paper and stick it on the box with bucolic (edit: vinyl) glue, so I wasn't really worried, but then I keep.layering watercolor on watercolor.
They aren't meant to be used like that
But I did it to pass time, time passed, so it's ok
(((edit:I smashed the thing)))

Re: Dealing with anxiety
Creative block is evil. I used to end up just writing endless stream of conscious trash when I got it. Not sure if that helped. I always wrote trash anyway. Funny, I never had creative block while doing 3D stuff. There was always something I wanted to try. I think overcoming the limitations of the software and hardware always made it interesting.
Sucks people aren't buying stuff anymore. If anyone took a photo of my paintings I'd give them a very long and hard
