I never bothered with consoles after my psx. I loved it. I played like 100 hours of Final Fantasy 7 and I thought that was fucking outrageous. Then I moved to playing on a crappy PC and spent years playing fallout 2 and then 1. Then I got a slightly better computer and played shit loads of Morrowind, Baldurs Gate II, Frozen Throne, Civilisation 2, and Master of Orion 2 (those later two were already so old). Civilisation 4 was the next and last big game for me.

exactly. everything seems boring now. same as movies, they can be made very well and all but usually the fun ones are the ones too bad to exist. some rare exceptions exist but don't pop out often
