so, tattoo studios over here are still closed and the government isn't thinking of reopening them yet, but the guy who tattooed my hand and a bit of my right arm posted this:
i'm seriously thinking about going for my back now

That's a pretty cool design. Do you want something like this, or has it just kindled the mighty need for fresh ink?

me too, then i'd just need the money. no one understands why studios are closed, everywhere else they already had permission to open

in portugal, only in the madeira archipelago, but they have a local government. i was talking about other countries like spain or italy. those are amongst the ones most affected by the virus and still could see studios have the best practices regardings hygiene and health.

Can't be too far away though, with the state of emergency being lifted. How long has it been now? A week or two?

2 weeks since the state was lifted. if people can go to the beach, hairdresser, nail salloons, etc., why can't tattoo artists work?

Seems like a legitimate beef to me. I suppose it's a bit more involved than a typical haircut or getting nails done, but it's still a close proximity personal service.

i understand the concerns, but studios over here have almost as many hygiene precautions as an hospital. they're super clean and always wear protection against germs

I’ve had people breathe right into my face while I work on them then tell me they’re full of cold. We’ve had a girl try and get tattooed while she had mumps. Folk will come in and chance their arm with all sorts of illnesses and I don’t expect them to be any different with corona
Fully anticipating some to even lie about it bc they can’t possibly go any longer without their upside down bird silhouettes and infinity symbols.

Or the anchor with “I refuse to sink”
That’s literally an anchor’s one and only job

Nag, I can't see your image. I know I'm late to the party, but can you repost?
I knew a girl who got a tattoo that says "anchors away" and I don't have the heart to tell her its supposed to be "anchors aweigh."

don't worry about it, i ended up giving up on that idea. made another post with my latest one a few days ago
you should tell her, people make so much mistakes while choosing designs it's not even funny anymore
