it has been sloshing around for years, threatening to take on form then going poof whenever I try to bring it to shape.

Hey,, that reminds me, how is your writing going @dreamshell? It was all looking rather promising. Also, have you played Myst?

Re: More cutting edge design
deflective segue denied!
There's not much to tell. It's sort of unseen dimensions, solid physical reality (though usually alien and unsettling), and the unexpected and horrific way they briefly merge. I think the desire for it (the excessively abstract it) to be unknowable but rational makes it hard to formulate into something satisfying. It's a classic struggle of material plane of existence vs all that other stuff, which I entirely reject, yet still have fun playing with on occasion.

Glad to hear you're still hitting those milestones and quotas for the competition. It must feel great to be getting some solid writing down.

Re: More cutting edge design
it rly does. makes me wonder why it felt so impossible before, but that's how it goes i guess
sounds like it could make excellent use of the weird ass glitches games accumulate, like shit phasing thru walls, etc. or maybe i'm misreading.

Re: More cutting edge design
Glitching Through Walls should def be a band name. I dunno. Usually it's small things, but sometimes reality just sort of goes inside out and you're subject to the full horror, but it's also always there, like reality is just a bubble resting on this topology of... Like I said, it's more feelings and nebulous ideas that just don't want to take shape.
